Griffon Pub Goodness

Saturday, April 26, 2014

Friday night my husband and I went to The Griffon Pub for dinner. It's close to our house and one of our favorite places to eat. It's located on Military Road in Niagara Falls in a renovated diner. The food is always amazing and they have a ton of drinks to choose from. I love the vibe of the restaurant and it's gorgeous how they've decorated it with tin ceilings and a lot of dark wood throughout. Everything is really affordable and there's a lot of creative meals to choose from.

We decided to split a Pub Platter to start. It has parmesan fries, beer battered onion rings, pizza logs, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers with a bunch of dipping sauces. It was so good!

Steve went with one of the local tap beers and the gnocchi poutine. It had some braised beef and a really good barbecue-tasting sauce on it. I tried a little forkful and it was really tasty! I decided on a hard cider and the smoked gouda mac and cheese. It's my favorite meal that I've had there so far. It's so creamy and yummy!

I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the Niagara Falls, NY area. If you go on the weekend make sure to get a reservation, like we did, since they are crazy busy most of the time.
